Before an outbound flight
Check the airline’s own check-in and boarding guidance. Bournemouth Airport recommends arriving at least two hours before departure, including when you have checked in online. Allow appropriate time for the road journey, luggage loading and unforeseen conditions.
Bournemouth Airport passenger information.
For arrivals and return transfers
Provide the flight number, arrival date, terminal if known, and a mobile number the driver can contact. Agree where you will meet before travel; airport collection areas and fees may change.
Heathrow's current terminal meeting points and Southampton Airport pickup guidance are useful reference points.
Choosing a suitable vehicle
Tell the booking team your passenger count and the number of large suitcases, cabin cases, prams or bulky items. A vehicle with enough seats does not always have enough luggage capacity.
What a quotation should confirm
Ask about the pickup postcode, date, departure time, waiting and parking arrangements, return travel and any additional stops. Your enquiry is not a confirmed booking until the operator accepts it.
Request a taxi or transfer
Send the journey details that affect timing and vehicle choice. Include the pickup, destination, date, preferred time, passengers and luggage; add flight, terminal or venue details when relevant.
